SUBSTANCE: invention relates to small-size shipbuilding, in particular, to means of safe boarding. Technical result is achieved by the fact that folding ladder consists of movable sections with possibility of their movement relative to each other, formed by longitudinal bases, pivotally connected by transverse steps installed on ends of longitudinal bases, at that, the dimensions along the perimeter of each subsequent section, starting from the second one, are smaller than the previous one, with the possibility of placing each subsequent section with a smaller perimeter inside the previous section with a larger perimeter in one plane when the ladder is transferred to the transport position; wherein a holder is arranged in the upper section of the folding ladder to fix the steps.

EFFECT: simplified design of folding ladder, achieving compactness in folded state.
