FIELD: monitoring and measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the optical inspection technical field of translucent, or transparent vessels, or hollow items having high temperature, in particular, to high-speed optical inspection of articles, such as glass bottles or flasks coming out of a production or molding machine. Disclosed device for optical inspection of glass vessels (2) with high temperature, made by molding machine (3), at the outlet of which the vessels enter serially on conveyor (5) and move with high speed in front of monitoring device (1), comprises vessel illumination system (7) having light-emitting surface (8), at least one chamber (10), which removes images of vessels, which are illuminated from the backside by light emitted from the radiating surface, and a system for controlling operation of lighting system (7) and camera (10). Emitting surface (8) lighting system (7) is configured to emit, on one side: a first light flux, called a flash stream, with a flash duration of less than 1 ms and a wavelength greater than 650 nm, and, on the other hand, and a second light flux, referred to as an illumination flux, with wavelengths in the visible region of less than 650 nm and duration of not less than 2 s. At that, lighting system (7) is controlled so that: to emit light flux of flash for each vessel moving in front of device, so, that camera (10) can take images for each vessel, illuminated from reverse side by said flash light flux; and emit a so-called luminous flux of illumination irrespective of the flash light flux, continuously perceived by the human eye.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of device for optical inspection of glass vessels with high temperature, made with possibility of visual monitoring of vessels by operators and automatic control of vessels, and also with possibility of their arrangement at the molding machine outlet.
