FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical properties of rocks. Coal-tar massif with a fracture is specified on the basis of geological survey. By zoning, simulation is carried out with respect to introduction of water into the coal massif in the area without mining and with mining operations, respectively. In the area without mining operations, by means of calculations and comparison of shear force values of different grids by programming, it is determined whether deformation coal mass is subjected to mechanical destruction under action of water pressure. At the same time, process of mechanical destruction of coal massif is simulated using the method without using a grid, and simulation of filtration process is carried out by the method of boundary elements.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of a method of numerical modelling of filtration/damage/stress communication during water injection into a coal massif, which provides more accurate modelling of coal massif damages and laws of migration of moisture during the introduction of water into the coal-gas array to obtain data on injection of water into the coal bed, providing safety of mining operations on the coal bed.
