FIELD: chemistry; molding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer composition containing a cycloalkylalkyl dicarboxylic acid diester as a plasticiser, to molding compositions and plastisols, containing in each case such polymer composition, and to use of said polymer compositions. Disclosed is a polymer composition for use as a molding composition or plastisol, comprising one or more polymers selected from homopolymers and copolymers of PVC, provided that the polymer composition contains 50 to 100 wt %, based on the total amount of polymers in the polymer composition, at least one polymer selected from homopolymers and copolymers of PVC, and one or more compounds of formula (I), in which Z is straight-chain C₂-C₈-alkylene group, and R¹ is a saturated, straight-chain or branched C₇-C₁₂-alkyl group, and R² is saturated C₃-C₈-cycloalkyl group. Also disclosed are a molding composition, plastisol and versions of using the disclosed polymer composition.

EFFECT: technical result is that disclosed composition gives molding compositions good thermoplastic properties simultaneously with low gelatinisation temperature; composition has high resistance and low volatility during processing and when using products obtained from it.
