FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and can be used on small-sized row boats moving on water using muscular force. A rowing device for rowing with the face in the direction of movement of the vessel contains a handle-lever attached with a hinge to a side of the boat's hull, movably mounted on the oarlock, made with the possibility of pendulum movement parallel to the upper surface of the oarlock support strip, a slider with an L-shaped bar fixed on it, a blade rigidly fixed at the end of the L-shaped rod perpendicular to its vertical axis, a rod having an arc-shaped shape and movably attached on hinges to the handle-lever and slider; two parallel guide rails closest to the bow of the boat's hull, the ends of which are rigidly attached to the oarlock, and in their middle part a slider is movably fixed with rollers installed between its upper and lower plates and providing the ability to move the slider by means of traction along the guide rails.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of muscular force use during rowing and the use of the vessel’s operational capabilities.
