FIELD: technical detection systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical detection systems that use combinations of systems, including video surveillance systems for round-the-clock monitoring of the situation in the protected area of the object. The technical result is to ensure the accuracy of spatial orientation. For this, in the method of optoelectronic observation of a protected area, unlike the prototype, before the start of the surveillance operating mode, a reference preliminary recording of images of the controlled area is made with a television camera in favorable visual conditions with various parameters of direction and zoom with reading and software referencing of all those parameters current values to the pre-recorded images. This information is transferred to the operator's automated workstation, where it is stored. In the operating mode of surveillance, with an insufficient level of readings of the obtained image, the saved reference image of the surveyed territory corresponding to the direction and zoom parameters is displayed on the operator's monitor screen.
EFFECT: ensured accuracy of spatial orientation.
