FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and is a method to produce an oil product, including the following stages:(i) processing in a reactor of a composition containing (a) vegetative plant parts, the dry weight of which is at least 2 g and in which the total content of non-polar lipids is at least 5% by weight on the dried basis,(b) a solvent that contains water, alcohol, or both, and (c) optionally a catalyst, and the treatment involves heating the composition at a temperature of about 270C to about 400C and a pressure of 70 to 350 bar for a period of 1 to 120 minutes in an oxidizing, reducing or inert medium,(ii) extraction of oil from the reactor with a recovery of at least 35 wt.%, on the dried weight of the vegetative parts of the plant basis, thus producing an oil product, which is a hydrocarbon product containing fatty acid esters, one or more alkanes, one or more alkenes, or a combination of any two or more of those.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce oil products with a high degree of efficiency.
