FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to control of pressure and check of tightness of safety valve. Device comprises pressure source (13) connected with spider through control valve (1). Second branch of spider is connected with safety valve (12). First valve (2), standard vessel (3) with pressure sensor (8), reduction valve (4), the second shut-off valve (5) and the second pressure sensor (9) are connected to the third branch of the crosspiece. Third branch valve (6) and the standard vessel of smaller volume (7) are connected with the fourth branch of the crosspiece, the output of which is connected to the T-joint. T-joint is connected with test safety valve (10), third branch of T-joint is connected with second shut-off valve (5). Pressure sensors (8) and (9) are connected to computer (11). In the method, gas is first supplied through open valve (6) and pressure is adjusted before actuation of test valve (10). Computer (11) records the pressure peak of the second pressure sensor (9), which is the pressure setting of tested valve (10). Then gas is supplied through open valves (2) and (5), pressure regulator (4) is regulated to pressure of tested valve (10) and shutoff valve (2) is closed.
EFFECT: technical result is wider range of tests, higher reliability and simplicity.
