SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the mining industry, specifically to compositions for reducing water permeability of sections or zones of salt rocks. Disclosed are two compositions for reducing water permeability of rocks, including a structure-forming agent - an aqueous solution of calcium chloride and precipitator - an aqueous solution of sodium sulphate and an additive. Method of plugging water-permeable sections or zones in salt rocks involves exposing zones of high water permeability to backfilled wells, preparing salt solutions on the surface and, if necessary, heating them and pumping them into the plugging zone. As backfill composition used in the first embodiment, at that pumping into water-permeable areas or zones of rocks is carried out in two stages, at the first one is pumped precipitator, and on the second - structure-forming agent, plugging necessary volume of rocks, or a composition according to the second embodiment of composition, wherein equal volumes of solutions of the structure-forming agent and the precipitation agent are mixed before pumping into water-permeable sections or zones of rocks, wherein pumping is carried out in one step.

EFFECT: technical result is wider range of compositions for plugging compositions in zone of high water permeability of rocks, as well as improving reliability and quality of plugging of water permeable sections of rocks.
