LASER BEAMS GUIDANCE METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01B11/27 G01S17/02 H04B10/11

Abstract RU 2744040 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to laser location and laser communication in open space. Method of laser beam guidance consists in that by means of laser radiation source laser beam is formed, which is divided into two parts, wherein the first partial beam is sent in the direction of the remote object, and the second partial beam is focused in the aperture of the photodetector (PD) to create an image of the radiation source. Position of the directions of the direction-finding light beam and the second partial laser beam is determined, according to the results of position mismatch, control signals are calculated to align the axis of the laser beam with the axis of the direction-finding beam. Position of the centres of the second partial and direction-finding beams is measured in turn, for which the optical path of the second partial laser beam is covered and opened only for the time of measuring the position of its centre. When measuring the position of the centre of the second partial laser beam, the image of the laser radiation source is brighter than the image of the remote object. Method is realized using a device which includes a telescope for receiving direction-finding optical signal from a remote object, a beam splitter arranged on an optical axis of the telescope, image shaper and placed in focal plane of photodetector images generator. Optical shutter and the retro-reflector are located outside the optical axis of the telescope on one side from the beam splitter, and on the other side - a deflector and a laser unit with a radiation source.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of increasing accuracy of guiding laser beams on one bearing by eliminating crosstalk when measuring positions of centres of laser beams.
