SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of measuring transverse component of wind speed and atmospheric turbulence parameters. Device for measuring the above parameters includes: laser radiation source (6), short-focus spherical mirror-lens reflector (1), telescope (3), optical deflector (4) with a controlled mirror, deflector control unit (5), optical beam splitter (7), Shack-Hartmann wave front sensor (8) with a video camera, sensor (9) of common angles of inclination with a video camera, optical system control unit (10). Sensor (9) of common inclination angles with the video camera and optical deflector (4) are combined into a circuit for correction of common inclination angles, which is a feedback system and is placed in front of Shack-Hartmann wave front sensor (8).

EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring transverse component of wind speed.
