SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry, specifically to a method for producing 1,3,6,8-tetraazatricyclo [4.4.1.13.8] dodecane, which is used as a disinfectant in veterinary medicine and for surface disinfection. The method consists in the interaction of paraformaldehyde and ethylenediamine, which is carried out during treatment with ultrasonic vibrations with a frequency of 23 to 120 kHz.
EFFECT: increasing the yield of 1,3,6,8-tetraazatricyclo [4.4.1.13.8] dodecane (99-100% yield), ensuring complete conversion of the starting compounds; exclusion from the method of obtaining the stages associated with the isolation and purification of the product; exclusion from the method of obtaining any additional reagents and solvents.
