FIELD: kitchen appliances.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stand mixer capable of monitoring the process. The processing device for processing a substance located in an inner container comprises: a device which causes movement located in the inner space of the container so the relative motion between the container and the device leads to the processing of the substance, an electric engine capable of functional communication with the container and the device in order to generate said relative motion, a sensor for producing a sensor beam directed to the inner space to form a reflection from the substance in the inner space and to generate a signal characterizing the reflection as well as the controller which is functionally connected to the sensor and the engine for receiving the sensor signal in order to recognize the change in the signal and thus the change in the condition of the substance in the bowl and to change the operation of the engine when the controller recognizes the specified signal change.
EFFECT: ensured continuous monitoring of the condition of ingredients in a mixer bowl.
