FIELD: radiolocation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radiolocation, specifically to radar stations (radar) for detecting small targets, and can be used to monitor airspace. The present radar 1 contains a reflective transceiver antenna 1.1 circular view with a cosec2 beam in the elevation plane and a narrow beam in the azimuth plane. Antenna 1.1 is connected by sounding signals through antenna switch 1.2 and transmitter 1.5 to generator 1.6 of a sequence of probing signals (S) of nanosecond and microsecond duration. According to the response signals, it is connected through an antenna switch 1.2, a four-channel receiver 1.3 for horizontal and vertical polarization signals, a polarization signal processing device 1.4, a digital correlator 1.7, an automated workstation 1.8 with a radio modem 1.9 for communication between the radar 1 and the command post 2 for airspace control. In this case, the SWs of nanosecond and microsecond duration of the shaper 1.6 are made, respectively, unmodulated and with intrapulse modulation, with a pause between them fractions of mcs and their frequency spacing by 1-10 MHz. The radar allows detecting radio-transparent and radio-opaque, moving and hovering air targets.
EFFECT: increased reliability of airspace control by expanding the radar to detect targets functionality.
