FIELD: radar.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used for detection in a given sector of small, low-speed and low-flying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) equipped with pulling or pushing propellers. Disclosed radar system for air perimeter protection consists of N profilers with reduced time of integral accumulation of reflected signals. Profilers are located on sectors of the protected area in such a way that their beam patterns (BP) overlap its airspace, wherein said profilers can scan their sector at azimuth and elevation angles to determine wind parameters and calculate turbulence. Each of the N profilers includes a wind parameter radar control unit, a transmitter unit, an analogue-to-digital receiver, a radar information processing unit and an automated operator workstation, a transmitter, a phased antenna array, a resonant amplifier, an antenna motor control unit with an antenna drive unit and a control unit generator.
EFFECT: enabling detection of low-speed, small-size and low-altitude aerial targets, such as unmanned rotorcraft with pulling or pushing propellers.
