FIELD: radar systems.
SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to the field of radar and can be used to resolve the range and azimuth of a dense formation of unmanned aerial vehicles. The technical result of the invention is to increase the resolution of the dense order components of a group air target in range and azimuth. The achievement of the technical result in the claimed device is carried out by using ultra-short-pulse probing signals that do not have side lobes in range, in combination with gated diversity reception of echo signals, which ultimately allows resolving the components of a dense formation of a group target in azimuth and range.
EFFECT: to increase the resolution of the invention.
