FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis of paraxylol and combined synthesis of light olefins from methanol and/or dimethyl ether and toluene wherein a reactor with a fast fluidized bed is used therefore; the bottom part of the reactor with the fast fluidized bed constitutes a reaction area and the top part of the reactor with the fast fluidized bed constitutes a diluted phase area, wherein said reactor with a fast fluidized bed is comprised of a body of the reactor, a distributor of the first reactor feed and multiple distributors of the second reactor feed, and said distributor of the first reactor feed and said multiple distributors of the second reactor feed are located in sequence from the bottom up in the reaction area. Said reactor with a fast fluidized bed is comprised of a first separator of solid an gas reactor phases, wherein said first separator of solid and gas reactor phases is located in the diluted phase area or outside of the reactor body, said first separator of solid an gas reactor phases is equipped with an inlet for regenerated catalyst, an outlet for catalyst discharge from said first separator of solid an gas reactor phases is located in the bottom part of the reaction area and the gas outlet of said first separator of solid an gas reactor phases is located in the diluted phase area.
EFFECT: invention enables improved conversion of toluene and selectivity for paraxylol, the conversion rate for toluene is more than 50%, selectivity for paraxylol relative to xylol isomers in the product is more than 90%, mass yield of paraxylol in one cycle relative to aromatic compounds is more than 48%, and high technological results were achieved.
