FIELD: medical cosmetics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an agent for slowing down skin aging. The agent for activating the function of dermal fibroblasts contains: target low-molecular-weight DNA and soy extract as active ingredients, and the target low-molecular-weight DNA is a product of DNA hydrolysis obtained from the testes of fish, and contains from 10 to 80% of fractions having a molecular weight of 330 to 12,000, the soy extract is an extract of at least one species selected from the group consisting of seeds, germs and sprouts of soybeans, the target low molecular weight DNA content is 0.001% to 0.5% by weight, and the content of the soybean extract is from 0.01 to 0.5% by weight, the ratio of the content of the target low molecular weight DNA and soybean extract is from 1: 50 to 50: 1; and said activation of the function is at least one action selected from the group consisting of stimulating proliferation, stimulating the production of type I collagen, and stimulating the production of hyaluronic acid in dermal fibroblasts. The agent for regulating the gene expression of dermal fibroblasts contains: target low-molecular-weight DNA and soy extract as active ingredients, and the target low-molecular-weight DNA is a product of DNA hydrolysis obtained from the testes of fish, and contains from 10 to 80% of fractions having a molecular weight from 330 to 12,000; the soy extract is an extract of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of seeds, germs and soybeans; the content of the target low molecular weight DNA is from 0.001% to 0.5% by weight, and the content of soybean extract is from 0.01 to 0.5% by weight, the ratio of the content of the target low molecular weight DNA to soybean extract is from 1: 50 to 50: 1 ; and said regulation of gene expression is the stimulation of one or both of the human hyaluron synthase 1 gene and the human hyaluron synthase 2 gene of dermal fibroblasts, or downregulation of the human dermal fibroblast hyaluronidase 1 gene.
EFFECT: said agents have activating effect on the function of dermal fibroblasts, can prevent or slow down skin aging, prevent a decrease in skin firmness and elasticity, the formation of wrinkles and sagging.
