FIELD: cosmetic industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new peptide SYSGVLFFLK (SEQ ID NO: 1), characterized by the ability to prevent skin damage caused by pollutants, anti-aging activity for the skin and the ability to reduce the formation of wrinkles; as well as to the use of the peptide that is associated with the prevention or treatment of skin diseases caused by pollutants, or to improve skin anti-aging therapy. In particular, the new peptide of the present invention inhibits the entry of pollutants into skin cells, such as dioxin, suspended particles and cigarette smoke, and regulates the expression of skin aging-related genes, and thus can be effectively used as an active ingredient in a pharmaceutical composition or as an active ingredient in a cosmetic composition.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of skin anti-aging solutions.
