SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method, a computer-readable data medium and a system for providing a "function-as-a-service" (FaaS) platform to a network host. Method comprises receiving, from a smart contract and through a first application, a function comprising a first function controller, executed in a network host, a first function call, comprising data for performing a first function executed by code in a first function application comprising a plurality of versions of a first function, first function controller routes the first function call to the corresponding first function version, wherein the first function application is stored in the network host network, first function controller has a unique address in a network host, and each version of the first function has a corresponding unique address in the network host; first function controller transmits first function call data to first function component performing first function based on first function call data; receiving a result of a first function from a first function component; and providing result of first function in smart contract.
EFFECT: technical result consists in automatic execution of a block transaction network transaction using a smart contract.
