FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nondestructive inspection of oil and gas facilities and can be used for measurement of parameters of corrosion and erosion of metals in field media in order to diagnose condition of process equipment and pipelines. Invention is a multichannel corrosion and erosion sensor which implements an electrical resistance method, including a reference current source, differential amplifiers, a measuring probe, having a support part protected from action of the monitored medium, and a multisection sensitive part, made from the same material as the in-tube process equipment, according to the invention the measuring probe has a length equal to the pipeline cross-section diameter, and the surface of the measuring probe, on which its sensitive part is located, is made with a polygon.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the monitoring of the corrosion-erosion activity of the transported multiphase field media over the entire section of the pipeline using one device.
