FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of non-uniform corrosion of internal surface of pipelines and can be used in systems of diagnostics and protection of pipelines and equipment from internal corrosion. Disclosed is a device for controlling uneven corrosion of inner surface of pipelines, which comprises sensor 1, reference current source 2, switch unit 3, analogue-to-digital converter 4 and processor 5. Reference current source 2, switch unit 3, analogue-to-digital converter 4 and processor 5 form electronic unit of device 6. Sensor 1 is metal tape 7 made from the same material as pipeline arranged along internal generatrix of pipeline and having taps 8 uniformly arranged on surface and in electrical contact with belt 7 but isolated from corrosive medium. At that, at least, one of belt sections 7 – support section 10 located between adjacent taps 8 is protected against anticorrosion coating by corrosive medium but has temperature contact with it. Sensor 1 is electrically isolated from pipeline, wherein extreme taps 8 of sensor 1 are connected to source of reference current 2. Outputs of switch unit 3 through analogue-to-digital converter 4 are connected to the input of processor 5, which is configured to transmit data to the computer network. Output of processor 5 is connected to the control input of switch unit 3.
