SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a forming element and a forming block which are used for moulding components of buildings, such as columns or walls that are located between adjacent floor slabs. The forming block comprises at least two surface-forming elements, each of which has a moulding surface and a pair of parallel edges extending in a longitudinal direction. When used, the surface-forming elements are arranged one on the other with the adjoining along these edges and each of said edges comprises a tool for locking the surface-forming elements relative to each other in such a way that the obtained forming block forms a single continuous moulding surface.
EFFECT: invention enables effective moulding of components of buildings.
