SUBSTANCE: disclosed is equipment (10) for mechanical treatment of hard surfaces S, such as, for example, surfaces made of asphalt or concrete, or similar hard materials, in particular for creating rumble strips. The equipment (10) includes rotatable means (16) for machining or cutting, supported by the main frame (11); and rotatable means (59) coming into contact with said main supporting frame (11); wherein rotation of said rotatable means (59) in a predetermined direction of rotation results in alternating rotations of said main support frame (11) in two opposite directions.
EFFECT: invention makes mechanical treatment of hard surfaces and hard materials more effective.
