FIELD: medical case histories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for automatic depersonalization of scanned handwritten case histories. The system contains a handwriting recognition unit, a named entity recognition unit, a post-processing unit, and is capable of recognizing an image of a scanned handwritten text of a medical history, saving the received recognized words and coordinates of the recognized words to a binary file, selecting recognized words from the resulting binary file, assigning them to a predefined named entity characterizing a person, organization and address, saving a sequence of the received named entity, recognized words and the coordinates of recognized words to a binary file, selecting the resulting sequence from the received binary file, searching the scanned image of the handwritten text of the medical history for recognized words by the saved coordinates, which refer to a named entity that characterizes a person, organization and address, and covering the recognized words with a background color.
EFFECT: technical result consists in automatic depersonalization of scanned handwritten case histories.
