FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed technical solution relates to the field of transport engineering, namely to the braking systems of ground vehicles controlled by the operator directly from the cab, remotely or autonomously. The braking system of the vehicle comprises brakes driven by the pressure of the working liquid, a controlled device for regulating the direction of the working liquid volumes from the main pressure source driven by the vehicle engine to the brakes along separate hydraulic lines, an independently driven additional pressure source, an electrically controlled unit for proportional control of the direction of the working liquid volumes, an electronic control unit, which generates control signals for it, an electronic control unit, which in turn exchanges signals with a remote control console located outside the vehicle. According to the claimed technical solution, an additional pressure source is made with the possibility of driving from the element of the mechanical transmission of the vehicle. The electrically controlled proportional control unit for the direction of the working liquid volumes is functionally duplicated by a hydraulically controlled control unit. The electronic control unit is designed to exchange signals with a set of motion control equipment in the autonomous mode of the vehicle.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the brake system while simultaneously expanding its functionality.
