FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to adjust the speed of cut of cars at braking positions of mechanised low load-bearing capacity double inclines. The decelerator incorporates braking beams with buses and spring assemblies arranged on both sides of the rail, a shift mechanism interacting with the said braking beams and jointed, via a lengthwise con-rod, with the power pneumatic cylinder rod, a pressure mechanism made up of pressure plates extending above the other rail, pressure plates articulated to spring-loaded fork-type levers and pressure hydraulic cylinder rods. The aforesaid pressure hydraulic cylinder piston chambers communicate, via one-way-check valves, two-position hydraulic control valve and pneumatic and hydraulic accumulator with power cylinder piston end in the pressure line, as well as, via one-way check valves, with the hydraulic tank in the suction line. Excess working fluid is discharged via safety valve into the said hydraulic tank. Given the abrupt pressure upraise in the aforesaid piston end, a portion of the working fluid is transferred, via a release valve, into the power cylinder rod end communicating, via the discharge line, with the hydraulic cylinder.
EFFECT: efficient braking, fast operation and high reliability.
