SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to the technology of manufacturing castings by casting according to gasified models, and can be used to obtain modified or alloyed castings from metal alloys. Models and elements of the gating-feeding system are manufactured from expanded polystyrene, modifying or alloying additives are introduced, assembled into model blocks by means of fastening the elements of the gating-feeding system, followed by painting the assembled model blocks with a non-stick coating, drying them and pouring the obtained model blocks with a metal melt. In the elements of the gating-feeding system adjacent to the model, technological recesses are preliminarily made, into which modifying or alloying additives are introduced.

EFFECT: invention improves the versatility of obtaining castings of various configurations without complicating the technological process of making models.
