SUBSTANCE: invention intended for application onto coil and sheet metal as a coating material intended for manufacturing a screw lid according to GOST 25749-2005. The composition includes (wt.%): a polyether resin on a basis of 1,2-propanediol, neopentyl glycol, trimethylolpropane, adipic acid and maleic anhydride, 75% solution in Solventnaphta 100, 100% - 10.0 to 17.0, benzoguanamino-formaldehyde resin esterified with n-butanol, 66% solution in n-butanol - 9.0 to 11.0, polyvinyl chloride resin with a K-value (K) from 70 to 75 - 8.0 to 14.0, epoxy resin on a basis of the product of epichlorohydrin with polypropylene glycol, 100% - 1.0 to 3.0, functional addition that improves wetting, polyacrylic resin, 52% solution in methoxypropyl acetate 0.005-0.01, organic solvents - the rest.

EFFECT: invention allows improving adhesion to PVC plastisol applied over the cover for sealing a screw lid for canning and to improve sterilization in model mediums with no loss of physical and mechanical properties and serviceability.
