SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry, specifically to production of paint compositions, and can be used for application on rolled and sheet metal intended for production of preserves. Described is a composition for coating roll and sheet metal for production of preserves, comprising polyester resin, benzoguanamine-formaldehyde resin, epoxy-containing resin, which does not contain fragments of bisphenol A and derivatives thereof, organic solvents and functional additives in the following ratio of components, wt. %: A) polyester resin based on 1,2-propanediol, neopentyl glycol, trimethylol propane, adipic acid and maleic anhydride, 75 % solution in Solventnaphta 100 and/or 1,2-propanediol-based polyester resin, trimethylol propane, adipic acid and phthalic acid anhydride of 100 % and/or polyester resin based on diethylene glycol, ethylene glycol, 1,4-butanediol and adipic acid 100 % is 19.0–38.0; B) benzoguanamine-formaldehyde resin, esterified with n-butanol, 66 % solution in n-butanol 10.0–20.0; epoxy resin based on the product of reaction of epichlorohydrin with polypropylene glycol 100 % and/or product of reaction epichlorohydrin with trimethylol propane 100 % 5.0–15.0; B) polyacrylic resin 52 % solution in methoxy propyl acetate 0.005–0.01; D) organic solvents - balance.

EFFECT: technical result is increased elasticity, bending strength and lower drying temperature.
