FIELD: woodworking.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to low-rise wooden housing construction. The longitudinal connection of rounded logs with increased thermal resistance includes longitudinal grooves made at the junction of the logs. Longitudinal grooves are located above and below the rounded logs and have a trapezoidal cross-section. The longitudinal grooves are interconnected by a longitudinal wedge with insulation, laid in the grooves of the connected logs. The cross-section of the wedge with insulation has a trapezoidal shape on both sides, which coincides with the shape of the grooves of the connected logs.
EFFECT: thermal resistance of the longitudinal connection of the rounded logs increases.
