FIELD: automatic control systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring and diagnostics of automatic control systems and their elements. The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the reaction of a good system is preliminarily recorded on the interval at the control points and the integral estimates of the system output signals are determined. It’s necessary to start the integration of the control system signals at each of the control points with weights by supplying multiplication of control system signals to the first inputs of the blocks at the moment of submitting the test signal to the input of the system with nominal characteristics. After that the normalized values of the deviations of the integral estimates of the model signals are determined. The system with the nominal characteristics is replaced with the monitored system. A similar test signal is sent to the input of the system. The integral estimates of the signals of the monitored system are determined for control points for the integration parameter. Diagnostic features are determined. The serial number of the faulty block or combination of faulty blocks is determined on the basis of the maximum value of the diagnostic feature.

EFFECT: invention reduces computational costs when searching for faulty blocks.
