SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer compound for rubber products which contains a multimodal molecular weight distribution of a halogen-containing polymer, wherein said halogen-containing polymer has multifunctional phosphine bonds in less than 10% of the halogen centers in the halogen-containing polymer which were available prior to being bound with a multifunctional phosphine, wherein the halogen-containing polymer contains a chlorinated or brominated butyl rubber polymer and the multifunctional phosphine bond is derived from a compound of structure (1) (R2)2P-R1-P(R3)2, wherein R1 is alkyl, R2 and R3 are phenyl. Invention also relates to a method of synthesis of such composition.
EFFECT: polymer does not have significant gel content.
