SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method of processability (technological efficiency) improvement for butyl rubber polymers by increasing the number of repeat polymer chain units originating from at least one polyolephine monomer. It includes production of butyl rubber polymer with repeat units originating from at least one C4-C7-isomonoolephine monomer, and repeat units originating from at least one C4-C14-polyolephine monomer and comprising at least 2.5 mol %, with the help of polymerisation degree regulator. And the butyl rubber polymer obtained does not exhibit increased swelling of extruded flow in comparison to the standard butyl rubber polymer.
EFFECT: decrease of cold flow.
