SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural machine building. Cleaner comprises rolls (2) installed on frame (1) with possibility of rotation in one direction and interconnected via chain (3) by sprockets (4 and 5). Sprockets of even and odd rollers are installed outside frame (1) on its different sides with possibility of even and odd rolls (2) rotation in one direction with different frequency. Frame (1) is extendable with the possibility of changing its width and fixation in the required position. Rollers (2) are made in the form of spirals with equal coiling pitch, ends of which are rigidly fixed on bushings (8) installed symmetrically inside frame (1) on its different sides. Sprockets (4 and 5) of even and odd rollers (2) are installed on shafts (9), at the ends of which bushings (8) are installed coaxially. Sprockets of even and odd rollers via chain (3) are connected with separate drives (10 and 11) installed on frame (1) with independent of each other controlled rotation frequency. Direction of winding of spirals of odd and even rolls (2) is made in opposite directions.

EFFECT: higher quality of root crops cleaning from soil.
