SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building. Root vegetables cleaner comprises rolls (4 and 5) installed on frame (1) with possibility of rotation in one direction and connected to each other through chain (6) by sprockets (7 and 8). Sprockets of even and odd rolls are installed outside frame (1) on its different sides with possibility of rotation of even and odd rolls (4 and 5) in one direction with different frequency. Even and odd rolls are equipped with separate drives (2 and 3) with independent from each other controlled rotation frequency. Rollers (4) closest to drives (2 and 3) are made in the form of discs with annular grooves on the outer surface, in which rings made of elastic material are installed. Other rolls (5) are made in the form of identical hyperboloids with corrugated outer surface.

EFFECT: higher quality of cleaning root vegetables from soil.
