FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to surgery, and can be used for treating fistula in an individual. The method comprises the following stages: i) deep scraping of at least one fistula channel; (ii) the closing of the inner opening of the scraped channel with suture material; (iii) delivery of at least 10×106 stromal stem cells of adipose tissue to the internal opening closed with the suture material and (iv) delivery of a second dose of the composition of stromal stem cells of adipose tissue by injecting into the walls of the fistula along the fistula channel.

EFFECT: use of this method which includes treatment on the basis of stromal adipose tissue stem cells ensures effective healing in patients, in particular, in those ones who had a lack of response to medical treatment and a lack of effectiveness from prior operational interventions.
