SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer technology and the field of parallel computing in functional programming environments. A method is proposed for parallelizing data mining in a computing environment that includes a set of interconnected subsystems. Each subsystem contains installed and configured software in a functional programming environment that decomposes an application into a sequence of separate functions that implement application steps and are non-aftereffect functions. For parallel processing in computing in functional programming environments, input data from files or databases are converted into a set of list data structures containing lists of attributes and lists of vectors. The knowledge model built as a result of data processing is also represented as a set of list data structures.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide the possibility of parallel execution of data analysis, in particular, sets of operations implemented in functional programming environments, and to reduce the likelihood of user error by using the functional programming environment.
