FIELD: engineering.

SUBSTANCE: folding multimodal container (10, 10', 10'') is submitted comprising of: a first and a second opposite parallel side walls (12, 14), where in the first side wall (14) is connected to the second side wall (12) so that the folding multimodal container is configured to modify configuration between assembled configuration, wherein the first and the second side walls (12, 14) are set at the first distance (D1) from each other forming an inner storage space, and the folded configuration, wherein the first and the second side walls (12, 14) are set at the second distance (D2) which is lower than the first distance (D1). The folding multimodal container (10, 10', 10'') is also comprised of a frontal and a rear end units (24, 26) for closing the first and the second ends of the container in assembled configuration and for controlling access to the inner space of the container, wherein each of the front and the rear end units (24, 26) is connected pivotally to the first side wall (14). When the folding multimodal container (10, 10', 10'') is in assembled configuration, the front and the rear end units (24, 26) are configured to communicate with the second side wall (12) for fixation of the first side wall (14) relative to the second side wall (12), and when the folding multimodal container (10, 10', 10'') is in folded configuration, the front and the rear end units (24,26) are configured to communicate with at least one other folding multimodal container (10, 10', 10'') for fixation of the first side wall (14) relative to at least one other folding multimodal container (10, 10', 10'').

EFFECT: technical result is a construction of a folding multimodal container with two configurations.
