FIELD: musical acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention is in the field of musical acoustics, in particular it relates to devices for tensioning the strings of keyboard musical instruments. The piano string tensioner consists of a cast-iron frame, a footer, and a pegboard connected to each other with large screws and bolts. A wooden plug is pressed into a cast-iron frame, pegs are pressed into a wooden plug and a wooden pegboard, a string is wound on the peg. The tensioning of the string is maintained due to the frictional force of the peg caused by the compression of the wood. A bushing with a technological rim made of durable material is pressed into the cast-iron frame, the peg is pressed through the bushing into a wooden peg board, the number of string turns is reduced on the peg, a ring with a slot is installed on the string turns. In other versions of the invention, a string with a bent end is installed in the peg hole, the number of string turns is reduced, a pad made of solid material with a hole is installed between the cast-iron frame and the pegboard, the number of string turns on the peg is reduced, the turns are installed in an overlapping manner, the pad made of hard material with a hole is fixed with a screw on a cast iron frame.

EFFECT: technical result is increased stability and better maintaining of the piano tuning.
