FIELD: stationery.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stationery and can be used to create products for attaching thin sheet elements to supporting surfaces. The drawing pin consists of a head made of a figured plate with a slot and a free end bent along the fold, forming a tip. The slot is made to the edge of the plate, and the fold is from the edge of the plate to the slot. The slot goes to the top of the figured plate. An additional slot is made on the side of the free end, perpendicular to the segment passing from the tip to the fold line and dividing the tip into two parts, and reaching the starting point of the segment located in the central part of the plate. The cross-section of the tip is made profiled in the form of a V-shaped profile by deforming it along the specified segment. The surface of the tip formed by the additional slot interacts with the back surface of the head.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the metal consumption of the button with the same overall dimensions, increasing the mechanical strength and stability of the tip itself, which will eliminate its deformation when installing the button in hardwood. The invention also increases the strength of the junction of the tip and the head.
