FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology and can be used for restoring nervous-muscular conduction of brachial plexus while traumatic shoulder plexopathy. When diagnosing the Duchenne-Erb type brachial plexus lesion, therapeutic electrical stimulation affects the peripheral parts of both damaged and undamaged neuromuscular structures, which have a common segmental-radicular innervation with the revealed damaged brachial plexus neuromuscular structures.
EFFECT: method provides for increased treatment effectiveness, increased rate of regeneration of the brachial plexus neuromuscular structures, rate of neuromuscular conduction recovery with the restoration of the motor and sensory function of damaged trunks and peripheral nerves, reduced treatment time, improved analgesic effect, as well as the absence of adaptive effects due to the possibility of reinnervation due to safe fibers of peripheral nerves, allowing to activate intra- and inter-segmental connections, involvement of anastomoses resulting from therapeutic electrical stimulation of muscles innervated by relatively intact peripheral nerves fibers.
