FIELD: engine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine engineering, in particular to accelerated medium-speed internal combustion diesel engines with a pulse-modulated or accumulator fuel delivery system operating in a wide range of speeds and loads. The pump consists of a body with a roll pusher located therein, a plunger pair of a monoblock type, in the upper part of which is a discharge valve and a control electromagnetic valve are located, a plunger with a non-return valve installed therein and connecting pipes for supplying and discharging low- and high-pressure fuel.
EFFECT: invention enables using a pump as in a pulse-modulated as well as in the accumulator fuel delivery systems and to increase the inter-cycle stability of the fuel supply by increasing the residual pressure in the high-pressure fuel line by installing the discharge valve into the plunger sleeve of and the non-return valve in the top of the plunger ensuring stable filling of the volume above the plunger.
