FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel feed system contains nozzle with shutoff needle, underneedle and overneedle spaces, main and additional high-pressure pipelines with inlet and outlet holes located in main and additional high-pressure pipelines, and high-pressure fuel pump. Said fuel pump of distributing type has barrel with filling hole and plunger-distributor arranged in barrel with possibility of reciprocation and rotation, and provided with axial channel, relied and distributing ports. Fuel pump is furnished with metering sleeve arranged on plunger-distributor in zone of distributing and relief ports. Bypass channels on side surface of sleeve interact alternatively with distributing ports. One of ports is made in form of right-angled triangle. One sides of triangle forming right angle is orientated along axis of plunger and the other, across axis for metering fuel delivered to underneedle space of nozzle. Other port is made in form of groove arranged at angle to plunger axis to control time of needle seating and two relief ports made in form of grooves orientated along axis of plunger-distributor to unload overneedle and underneedle spaces of nozzle. Inlet holes of fuel pipelines are made at level of metering sleeve.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of control of fuel delivery.
