FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for controlling the movement of a wheeled device for delivering tools and equipment to horizontal sections of wells. The method includes a wheeled delivery device consisting of one or more wheel sections equipped with drives for rotation of the driving wheels and pressure drives that press the driving wheels against the wall of the casing, using a modem of a telemetry communication system with a logging system and set in motion by the appropriate commands for movement along the horizontal wellbore.
The device registers the value of temperature sensors, accelerometers, cable tension. Wheel sections are evenly spaced around the perimeter of the borehole cross-section for effective centering of the device with minimal dimensions. The wedging supports, on which the wheels are mounted, and the pressure devices are equipped, respectively, with sensors for measuring the diameter and pressing force. In the process of movement, the delivery device monitors and controls the opening diameter and pressing force of each wheel. To move the device in complicated conditions, the wheels are pressed against the inner wall of the column with the maximum force necessary to ensure movement. The force and diameter of the opening on the forward wheel in motion is quickly made minimum necessary to ensure the centering of the device and the passage of the first wheel through the constriction. The front wheels, which slow down the movement, fold completely, as they move through the constriction, the front wheels again strongly press against the wall of the casing, helping to pass the constriction. The next wheels in order are sequentially folded based on the readings of the force and diameter sensors.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability, durability and operational safety of the device.
