SUBSTANCE: invention relates to survey of horizontal and inclined oil and gas wells. Device for delivery of instruments into a horizontal well consists of an external fixed housing with two centralizers and an internal movable housing. Device is additionally equipped with an electric motor with a step-down reduction gear installed in the upper part of the external fixed housing and a longitudinal shaft rotating stationary cylindrical cams installed in the internal movable housing. Stationary cylindrical cams provide axial movement of paired spring-loaded movable cylindrical cams, on which spring-loaded wedging cams are installed in pairs. Pairs of stationary cylindrical and spring-loaded movable cylindrical cams are turned relative to each other through angle of 360°/n, where n is the number of these pairs. Spring-loaded wedging cams folding mechanism consists of an additional electric motor with a step-down reduction gear installed in the lower part of the external fixed housing and connected by a screw gear to the internal movable housing.

EFFECT: higher reliability of the device for delivery of instruments into a horizontal well, as well as constant values of traction force and speed of movement of the device.
