The hair removal device contains a casing, a mechanical functional unit with a movable element, an electric motor in the casing and a removable module with an auxiliary function during hair removal. The removable module includes a housing, an electrical functional unit that has an electrically actuated element for performing an auxiliary function when removing hair, and a generator for converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. The housing of the removable module has the first contact surface and the second contact surface. The first contact surface interacts with the housing to install a removable module on it. The second contact surface interacts with the mechanical functional unit to install it on the removable module. In this case, the electric motor is connected to the movable element of the mechanical functional unit.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the possibility of supplementing the clipper with modules for performing various electrical functions without the need for an electrical connection between the module and the casing and/or the mechanical functional unit of the hair clipper.
