SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the method and system of local positioning, passenger service system and aircraft. The local positioning system contains a wireless data transmission reader, and a data processing device. The data processing device contains a server device with the capability to receive signals wirelessly. The passenger service system contains a local positioning system and a device for processing a passenger request. To implement the method, data is read from a tag from a plurality of wireless data transmission tags located in different places in the region of a given design, a data transmission tag signal is generated, representing the read tag data, access to a map of matching multiple tags relative to a predetermined design is made, the position of the reader relative to the design is determined. The aircraft contains a passenger cabin with groups of passenger seats, multiple wireless data transmission tags inside the cabin, a local positioning system, a passenger service system.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of passenger service inside the vehicle.
