FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used in the manufacture of products from elastic damping porous material in various fields. The method includes obtaining a workpiece and forming an elastic-hysteresis element of a vibration isolator by pressing the workpiece first in the radial and then in the axial directions. To obtain the specified workpiece, a shock-resistant cushion is preliminarily made of a stretched wire spiral, which is then, with conical springs installed on its peripheral part, in a compressed state, is installed in a mold for casting, and the inner cavity of the mold is filled with a fusible alloy melt. The mold for casting is cooled to the solidification temperature of the melt, the resulting internal technological object is removed from it, and the resulting internal technological object is wrapped with layers of a stretched wire spiral and a reinforcing tape. The obtained workpiece is pressed in a mold to form an elastic-hysteresis element and it is heated to the melting point of a low-melting alloy, which is then removed by successive rotation of the workpiece in the vertical plane by 180° until a hollow vibration isolator is obtained.
EFFECT: bearing capacity is increased, the shockproof characteristics are improved, and the manufacturing process is automated.
