The connecting device (10) has torque transmitting means for transmitting the driving torque to the steam supply unit (4) in a state connected in a steam conductive manner to the steam supply line (23). The steam supply unit can be rotated about the axis of rotation so that the steam is better distributed in the food and / or to mix the food.
